Hi! My name is Karyn and I am so grateful for this opportunity. My biggest "why" is my Dad.
My mom lost her very short battle with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer in December 2024. The initial intention for moving home to our small community, from the big city, was to assist my parents during my mom's recovery after her release from the hospital. Very sadly...mom never made it home.
This next chapter in our lives is about helping dad, and myself, build a "new norm" in life's daily routines.
The thought of moving back to the city, leaving dad alone, and returning to a retail management job that was no longer a positive work environment was unimaginable.
I needed change in this new chapter called life...and that had to include:
-being in charge of my own schedule
-having the freedom to travel and not have to ask for time off or work it around the needs of a dozen staff members
-being able to earn while I'm traveling or temporarily relocate for a month or two
-the freedom to design my own days and have the flexibility to take my dad to his doc appointments in the city while the system keeps working behind the scene
-creating residual income
I have been in retail management since 2008, owned/managed my restaurant for 6 years, and many years of customer service experience before that.
It is time for change.
I want to treasure the time I have left with my dad...whether that's 2-5 years...or if the Lord is working in our favor...maybe another 10-15 years!! We can only hope!!
Life is precious! Make it what you want! Nobody will do it for you!
